Dave received his Masters of Social Work from the University of Buffalo, the State University of New York. He is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), and is a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. Dave uses a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, guided by the principles of safety, choice, collaboration, empowerment and trustworthiness.

Gillian is able to meet with patients in much the same way as your doctor, providing primary care for a variety of issues: acute illnesses, healthy checkups for adult/children/babies, chronic disease management, pre-operative physicals, counselling and education, minor office procedures, non-narcotic prescription renewals, diagnostic test ordering, and referrals to specialists. Gillian works closely with the physicians of BMC FHT as well as with other members of your health care team.

Katharine is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and is a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW). She also has a Master of Social Work degree and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Katharine has been in the mental health profession for over 15 year and specializes in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Lindsay currently practices as a clinical pharmacist at the Beamsville Medical Centre Family Health Team, and as a clinical pharmacy research coordinator at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. Lindsay has a passion for and special interest in chronic disease management such as diabetes and ensuring appropriate pharmacotherapy in the elderly; she is a Certified Diabetes Educator, Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist, and certified in providing smoking cessation services.

As a Registered Nurse (R.N.) and Certified Diabetes Educator (C.D.E.), Lori offers counselling based on the Canadian Diabetes Association’s Clinical Practice Guidelines. This provides an opportunity for patients with diabetes to learn how to manage their blood glucose levels via exercise, nutrition, and medication.

Sarah has been a dietitian for over 15 years and at the Beamsville Medical Centre since 2014. She offers her skills, knowledge and expertise in helping people achieve their healthy eating goals and manage their health conditions or concerns.
